December 27th 2015

It's the final race of the year tomorrow with Tullyallen Karting Club for their T Plate event.

I got to take a look at the winners' trophies and they're pretty cool. I'll have to try to win one now!

Unfortunately Round 2 of Leinster Karting Club's Winter Championship has been cancelled due to the bad weather. I was really looking forward to getting out to race again.

December 5th 2015

Tullyallen Karting Club announced the dates for next year's Championship at their awards ceremony last night. Hopefully they'll have a good X30 Junior grid. All the dates can be viewed in the calendar.

Here are a few #PlacesAlonsoWouldRatherBe

November 15th 2015

I started in third place for the final, and was up to second coming out of the first corner, but got caught on the outside on the way into turn three and dropped back to fourth place.

Conditions were quite slippery and it was still hard to get the power down coming out of the corners.

It was my first time racing the IAME X30 Junior in the wet, so I know there's still a lot to learn, but it was great to get back to racing after a seven week gap.

November 15th 2015

Heat two just finished. Rain began to get heavier just as the race started making the track slipper. Very hard to get grip in the corners. Started fourth, finished fourth.

November 15th 2015

Heat two just about to get under way.

November 15th 2015

Heat one finished. Started in P2 and dropped back to fourth. Fought my way back up and passed Killian Brady for third and pulled away but the two CRG guys were too far ahead and I finished third. Not a bad start.

November 15th 2015

Ready to go for heat one. Starting in P2. Still quite damp out there.

November 15th 2015

Just a bit wet out there for free practice. Hopefully it dries up a bit before the first heat.

November 15th 2015

All set for the first practice session.

November 15th 2015

Almost time to go racing, but first, a photo...

November 15th 2015

Just a bit wet here at Athboy Karting Centre this morning!

November 15th 2015

Leinster Karting Club's Winter Championship starts today at Athboy Karting Centre. Looks like it is going to be a wet and windy one.

It has been seven weeks since the last race so I can't wait to get back out on track in the IAME X30 Junior class.

November 13th 2015

The first round of Leinster Karting Club's Winter Championship takes place at Athboy Karting Centre this Sunday.

Here are a few photos from my first time out with them at Round 1 of their Winter Championship in November 2013. It seems like such a long time ago!

When you're racing it is important to know where the camera is!

November 11th 2015

I used Force Motorsport engines in the three Motorsport Ireland Karting finals I won this year in Cork and Athboy.

They've just set up a new Facebook page so go check it out.
